How much does a service call cost?
The diagnostic visit is $99, and it's waived entirely when you go ahead with the repair — so if we fix it, the diagnosis costs you nothing. You approve a flat-rate quote before any work starts.
How fast can you get here?
Same-day for most of Allegheny County when you call before noon — refrigerator and freezer calls get first priority because food is on the line. Northern suburbs like Cranberry are honestly next-morning standard.
Do you carry parts with you, or is it always two visits?
Our trucks stock the frequent-failure parts for the common brands — igniters, elements, pumps, lock assemblies, fans. Around 7 out of 10 repairs finish in one visit. If a part must be ordered, the return visit has no second trip fee.
What's your warranty?
90 days on both parts and labor, in writing on your invoice. If the same failure comes back within that window, we return and make it right at no charge.
Why won't you quote a repair price over the phone?
Because we'd have to guess high to protect ourselves, and you'd pay for the guess. The same symptom — say, a fridge not cooling — can be a $150 fan or a $600 compressor. What we can do on the phone: tell you the typical range for your symptom, and tell you honestly when it doesn't sound worth a visit.
Is my old appliance even worth fixing?
Sometimes no — and we'll say so. Our working rule: if the repair costs less than half of a comparable replacement and the appliance has years left in its class, repair it. Dryers and ranges almost always pass that test; a 14-year-old fridge with a dead compressor almost never does.
